Honoring Veterans Through Unforgettable Journeys

Wiregrass Honor Flight honors veterans of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam with a free, one-day trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor.

Our mission is simple:

To celebrate our heroes with a day of honor, reflection, and gratitude.

For many veterans, this trip is a long-overdue “thank you” and a powerful reminder that their service is never forgotten. With the help of volunteers and supporters, we make these life-changing journeys possible—at no cost to the veteran.

Paused due to resource limitations

Today, we are bringing it back stronger, structured, and statewide for the next generation of heroes.

Reincorporated in 2022 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Designated by Honor Flight Network as the official Alabama hub Headquartered in the heart of the Wiregrass Region
