At Wiregrass Honor Flight, we believe that our nation’s veterans deserve more than just our thanks—they deserve a powerful reminder that their service and sacrifice are never forgotten. That’s why we proudly offer free flights to Washington, D.C. for veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War to visit the memorials built in their honor.

Founded by passionate volunteers in the Wiregrass region, our mission is simple yet profound:

For many of our heroes, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reflect, remember, and receive the heartfelt gratitude they may have never experienced. Each trip is more than just a visit—it’s a life-affirming journey filled with camaraderie, emotion, and respect.

We handle every detail, from airfare and meals to transportation and care throughout the day. Veterans travel with trained guardians and a team of dedicated volunteers to ensure their safety and comfort every step of the way.
